The plan proposes the introduction into the area of a Creative Cluster based on Media Arts and Chill Out culture.
The proposal aims to generate a new production model that drives the economy of the area in the low season months, integrated into the 'Ibiza Music Cluster' driven by the Island Council from the Strategic Plan of Platja d'en Bossa (also an intelligent coast project). The plan proposes the creation of new tourist products related to the sea: an artificial reef and a promenade with a network of art spaces.

Consultation on the creation of a new production model to diversify the tourism economy of Puerto Plata, based on the creative economy of art.
The proposals defined strategic lines of action that make a regeneration of landscape of the area called La Puntilla, on the waterfront of Puerto Plata, and propose the attraction of new knowledge and creative tourists.. The proposals introduce a center for contemporary dance performance and a school of dance and art in the area, and an interpretation center on the history of Amber.

The project is developed on three structural parts: Analysis of the elements of competitiveness and excellence of the city of Barcelona, critical diagnosis on the current role of La(s) Rambla(s) and preliminary studies of opportunities, projects and actions, for the future development of the area.

The plan envisages strategic lines of action and design allowing the development of a comprehensive response and improvement of urban architecture and landscape of Yokohama. The plan proposes a system for managing time slots daily, weekly and monthly area on the waterfront of the city. The plan maximizes the use of the port as a place of leisure and its ability to become a great urban attractor.
The Master Plan proposes the rescue of the waterfront, considering the environment as an urban asset, and an added value for tourism and urban leisure of the city.

Strategic Plan for the integral reconversion of a mature tourist destination on Ibiza: Platja d'en Bossa. The plan proposes the reconversion of the tourism model through the introduction into the area of a musical Cluster (Ibiza Music District), towards the diversification of the production model. The proposal aims to generate a new model of diversification to boost the area economy in the low season months, driving the future of the island to the activation of a music creative economy. In turn, the plan proposes the creation of new tourism products in the area related to a high performance sports center and a large city park (www.ibizamusiccluster.org) with an agricultural character.
The plan has been implemented by the Consell Insular de Ibiza through the Innovation Cluster, Ibiza Music Island (IMI)

The plan aims to turn the area into a competitive destination, through the intelligent use of land, the modernization of industrial sites and public presentation of investment opportunities for the development of small and medium enterprises.

Barcelona City Centre Research

Intelligent Coast was commissioned to rethink the role and identity of the famous 'La Rambla', one of Barcelona's most important tourist venues. This represented an opportunity to speculate on the future of this famous street and its position inside the city's urban structure and overall tourism strategy, both as an attractor and as important historic and civic axis.
The process was developed in collaboration with several research centers and academic units: Master Intelligent Coast, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, the Handong Global University, the Yokohama Graduate School of Architecture and researches from the Interactive Technologies Group at the Pompeu Fabra University.

Research on Reiventing Barcelona Urban-Tourism Model.

The research, carried out with ESADE Business School, identifies the differential shafts that redefine the project of a metropolitan city-region, where tourism represents one of its main economic engines. There were analyzed criteria to establish an integral relationship between the urban tourism phenomenon and new challenges: the marketing of the destination via Internet, the pressure of the flows generated by low cost carriers, international competition, the need to contain resources consumption, and how it all affect the redefinition of its own area of influence.
The research dealt with the limits, strategies and indicators that define the competitiveness of urban areas based on: its urban-production, strategic-infrastructure, and business-tourism models.
